Meet The Team

Chiropractors

Dr Jon D.C BSc MChiro (Hamilton Chiropractor)

I moved up to Glasgow in 2009 along with my partner Megan after completing my Master of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Sport Science. I'm originally from Swansea, South Wales, so Scotland was not so alien to me. In fact, I feel quite at home given the Scottish countryside and I blend in with my own Evans Celtic tartan!

I now have a daughter and she is my pride and joy. I pride myself on being a family man as well as a Chiropractor, and my job as well as my family is very important to me.

Chiropractic to me now is more than just a career. I had an unfortunate event in 2004 which left me with a ‘slipped’ disc and horrendous leg pain whilst studying for my masters in Chiropractic. My regular adjustments not only got me through my education but currently keeps me doing everything I want without hinderence from my past. I have empathy for those who consult with me because I have experienced the pain and debilitation back pain brings with it and I strive to be bring quality to both communities and individuals throughout Glasgow and wider Scotland.

I am now a registered Chiropractor with the General Chiropractic Council and am affiliated with the United Chiropractic Association Fitness has always been a part of my life and now cross fit is certainly a big part of my life now; fitter, faster and stronger.

Dr Megan D.C BSc MChiro (East Kilbride Chiropractor)

After completing my Master of Chiropractic, I moved to Glasgow in 2009, which is very different to the sleepy village in Suffolk where I was born and raised. Chiropractic has been in the background of my life but I never knew I wanted to be a chiropractor. It was when I was in Akaroa, just outside of Christchurch in New Zealand, that the puzzle started to fit together and take shape and I've never looked back since.

my career is very important to me and I aim to provide a high standard of care and education to the wide range of clients that I have the pleasure of meeting. The technique I use, Advanced Biostructural Correction, is an exciting and consistent form of body work to improve posture, function and quality of life and I’m excited for you to experience it.

I am a registered Chiropractor with our governing body, the General Chiropractic Council and am also an affiliate of the United Chiropractic Association.

I now have a daughter who is the apple of my eye. I would perhaps say that I am the quintessential modern woman, juggling lots of family time and work into a week.

Chiropractic Assistants

Wilma (Hamilton CA)

I first joined the practice in September 2011. My main hobbies are reading and knitting.

I have a daughter and two sons, a son-in-law and two daughters-in-law. I also have four grandchildren: two girls and two boys (my newest grandson was born on Saturday 31st August 13) and I have a dog!

My favourite place is anywhere where my family are all together, however I really do like Italy as well!

Rita (Hamilton CA)

I have worked here in Hamilton since January 2011, and I was a patient of Gregs for 6 months before that. I previously worked for RBS for over 30 years.

I love making jewellery, reading, walking and going on short breaks. I have one son Paul, who is 31 and no sign of any grandchildren yet.

I can’t pick one favourite place but I love Italy, Jersey, London and St Anne’s—quite a contrast! Oh, and Glasgow too...

Tricia (East Kilbride CA)

I will be one of the first faces you see when coming into our East Kilbride practices. I have been working as a Chiropractic assistant for nearly 2 years now and I enjoy every minute of it.

I am the resident tea 'Jenny' and we are sure she makes the best cuppa this side of the Western hemisphere. When I'm not brewing up I'm never happier at work than when I'm chatting/speding tim with the members of our Chiropractic family.

At home I love to spend time with my husband and my two boys. I'm an animal lover, I love dog walking as well as catching up with a good book when I have the time.

Carol (East Kilbride CA)

I am the mother-hen of the East Kilbride team. I see all our members and staff as an extension of my family. I have been a Chiropractic assistant for nearly 8 years now and I love my job.

I have four children and 8 grandchildren, which, means my life can be pretty hectic. When I'm not babysitting my grandchildren I am enjoying time with my husband and children.

I will often be found in the children's corner of our practice keeping our Chiropractic kids occupied and giving the mums a break.
